Description:

FocusedKids provides prevention-focused, brain-based social-emotional programming in schools, homes, and community settings. Our work helps children, educators, and caregivers understand how the brain influences emotions, attention, behavior, and relationships. Through interactive classroom lessons, educator training, coaching, family workshops, and community partnerships, children learn age-appropriate tools to calm their bodies, manage emotions, control impulses, focus attention, and communicate their needs.
At the same time, teachers and caregivers gain practical strategies they can use right away, including breathing and movement practices, co-regulation tools, reflective listening, mindful routines, and relationship-based approaches that support safety, learning, and connection. Our in-school program supports educators in building calmer, more focused, and more connected classrooms, while our family programming helps caregivers move from reactive to intentional responses at home.
