Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Council

Description:

As the Regional Early Childhood Council, we head the systems building work across Eagle, Garfield, Lake and Pitkin counties. We implement state initiatives and are a centralized hub that works with partners across our region to connect professionals and families to available services and supports. We are the Child Care Resource and Referral agency for the 4-county region, support new providers during the licensing process, and we implement several quality initiatives including Colorado Shines, Expanding Quality for Infants and Toddlers, expansion grants, Lena Grow and more. We also serve as the Local Coordinating Organization that is implementing Universal Preschool for the Roaring Fork Valley (Pitkin, Garfield, W. Eagle) and Lake Counties.
