The Art Base

Description:

The Art Base offers art instruction in different disciplines for all ages and levels. Adult classes include workshops in mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, expressive arts therapy, visual journaling, woodblock carving, 3D printing and digital arts, and more. Youth classes are in especially high demand; offerings include free after school art, free family Crafternoons, art mentorships and internships for high school students, and our popular summer art camps. In 2022, the Art Base offered over $100,000 in free programming for individuals of all ages.

Our exhibitions serve as an important opportunity for local and regional artists to share and sell their work to visitors, and also provide continued art education opportunities for local students, families, individuals, and visitors who wish to tour our space. Exhibiting artists are Colorado-based, often having their first solo exhibition in a professional gallery setting, launching their career.
