WindWalkers provides equine assisted therapies and interventions that address not only quality of life/ functionality, but also improvement in wellness, mobility for those confined restricted by their [dis]abilities, core strength, family dynamics, recovery from abuse and/or addictions, mental hygiene, self-sufficiency and so much more. We believe that therapeutic riding and Equine Assisted Counseling/Psychotherapy/Learning/Education are uniquely positioned to approach the objective of meeting human needs and gaps in behavioral healthcare for seated activities and through equine assisted mental health/intervention. Our organization serves people with extraordinary abilities, mental health patients, veterans, seniors, those on the autism spectrum, developmental disorders, at-risk youth and low income /underserved populations.
