Where horses and caring professionals help individuals with challenges and their families to grow and thrive from Aspen to Parachute. WindWalkers provides equine assisted therapies and interventions that address not only quality of life/ functionality, but also improvement in wellness, mobility for those confined restricted by their [dis]abilities, core strength, family dynamics, recovery from abuse and/or addictions, mental hygiene, self-sufficiency and so much more. We believe that therapeutic riding and Equine Assisted Counseling/Psychotherapy/Learning/Education are uniquely positioned to approach the objective of meeting human needs and gaps in behavioral healthcare for seated activities and through equine assisted mental health/intervention. Our organization serves people with extraordinary abilities, mental health patients, veterans, seniors, those on the autism spectrum, developmental disorders, at-risk youth and low income /underserved populations.
